Blessings Unaware

Do you ever have those times where someone does something for you totally unexpected and it makes you feel really special?  Perhaps a phone call, a meal, a small little present.  Stop and think about a recent time someone did that for you.

Now.. we might be totally unaware of it because it happens so frequently... But God is continually doing things for us... a lot of times unnoticed.  Take a second and acknowledge those little (and big) things that God does for you just because He loves you.

You bring delight to God

You know how there are those special people in your life that no matter how bad your day might be... a heart to heart conversation with that person..makes everything better.  That is how God feels about your time with Him.  I know He knows all things.. but with all the things He deals with in this world all the time.. He is refreshed and enjoys spending time with you.

Everyone bring a hymn, song, etc

Like going to a pot luck. Bring something.  Especially SOMETHING YOU  like.  That way toy ARE guaranteed simmering to eat and be satisfied. Perhaps it will bless someone else

Jesus loves crumbs

I was journaling about how i am still struggling with the rejeciton thing.. and the Jesus spoke to me the storyh of hte crumbs.. 

how jesus cared about the stuff that no one else cares about.. the crumbs.. 

Crumbs are things that peopel disregard and have no use for.. but jesus gathered them up.. 

so when you are feeling crumby (crummy)  jesus sees you. in fact.. his attention is drawn to you.. and he comes and gathers you up.. and not only give you attention then but he mentions these people again later in a parable.. about the phasrisees.. 

Reward From God

What does it take to please God?

I know that there will be as many answers as there are opinions. But let me share with you from the Bible what it takes to please God.

FAITH!    I would say most of you already knew that.

Hebrews 11:6 says "Without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is......"

So, in order to please God we must first believe that He is! That almost seems so common sense.

But...... there is second part to this verse that we so often overlook. Hebrews 11:6 goes on to say.....

 "And that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him."

So, in order to please God we not only need to believe that He is there.... we also need to believe that He rewards us for diligently seeking Him. We have to be actively involved in both parts of this verse in order please the Father.


Father, I choose to believe that You are,  and I choose to believe that You are actively rewarding me for seeking after You!

God loves to be sought after. Find him in every situation

God loves for us to seek him and find out where he is and every situation of our lives. The good times, the bad times, what times will we don't know what is up.

He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Seek and you shall find,

Study further on seeking God.

twofold aspects of faith. must believe that God is. And also must believe that he is a rewarder of those that seek Him

Faith is to our spirit life and spirit man as the blood is to our physical bodies. Faith is what brings life. But, that face has to have love as its root.

Without faith it is impossible to please God. Heb 11:6... But!!! Not only do you use that faith to believe that there is a God. That is not enough! You also must believe that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
